Goodbyes Are Not That Bad
Goodbyes or any endings always come with a blessing.
If you look back you’ll notice that our lives have been a series of goodbyes and endings. And every ending is linked to a new beginning.
We meet a myriad of people in our lives and each is meant to add some value and direction. These people work like the signals on an untravelled road and keep guiding us unknowingly towards our ultimate destination.
We as individuals are a blend of all the values, skills, articulation, memories, and whatnot of all the people we ever met. As human beings, we tend to imbibe the qualities of other humans knowingly or unknowingly. So how are the goodbyes sad if they leave us with so much to look up to and these treasures are lifelong.
“Every goodbye is a new hello.” If I look back to the time when I had not explored much and was happy with my bunch of ten friends, even the thought that this will end someday and we’ll have to say goodbye to continue our walk on different pathways of life was heartbreaking. But now I can relate to how that goodbye gave me the opportunity to meet so many different people who added different value to my life.
Goodbyes really don’t affect much, if that person truly loves you. Then they’ll always be there to support you even if you are on a different pathway. They work as a clear mirror to show you your true supporters.
These endings teach you the importance of what you have. These belongings or the love and care which you receive while saying the final goodbyes make you realize how lucky you are to have such people standing by your side.
Your album of memories is never complete without the goodbyes.
There is always a special place for these endings and you remember the presence of so many people just by the way they bid you adieu.
To make your goodbyes special you can maintain an album with some handwritten notes below the pictures to keep the memories fresh, always. These albums just work as a projection of your faded memories and you can always become a part of those old times again.
So, the goodbyes are not that bad they lead to so many hellos:
Hello to new adventures
Hello to new friends
Hello to new hurdles
Hello to new albums
Hello to new teachings
Hello to new opportunities
Hello to a new road map
Hello to a whole new life…
So, just smile when you are close to goodbye because a new hello is waiting for you.
